Huussi / Outhouses, 1994
An outhouse feels like a human. There are few buildings that can be understood at one sitting. The Acropolis is a familiar building; the outhouse is even more familiar.
Even though the outhouse is small you can see far from there. Under your bare feet you can feel the well-trodden path of childhood leading to it. You feel the dark morning’s frosty sittings. The trees still speak to the latrine user.
The outhouse is coming back. This book provides the philosophical rationale as well as clear building instruction
