There it is, standing at the edge of the field – small and usually red. Grandma´s herb garden, flower beds and well are in the yard; a little beyond are the outhouse and sauna.
Some cottages are still occupied. Others are left empty and some are decaying. Many have been converted into summer cabins.
This book is a certain Grandmother´s story along with photographs of many different grandmother cottages.
